Description:

Advanced techniques utilizing Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) provide both qualitative and quantitative information concerning the micromagnetic state. In particular, Lorentz, Foucault and holographic techniques are employed to image domains in magnetic nanomaterials.  Above is an image of off-axis electron holography, which is used to image magnetic induction vectors in Ni nanodots.
